There was a great article today in the NYT on how wingtips have been stealthily become a favorite in men’s fashion in recent years. I, personally, am glad to see it happen. I’ve gotten a little tired of the retro sneakers and clunky work boots everywhere. Great to see something with a little more polish. (ahem)

This trend has also made it on the women’s scene with oxfords and brogues making there appearance. I recently fell for it myself with this purchase. I also have a beloved pair of Church’s in my closet, a gift from my always stylish hubby. (Who has been ahead of this trend for a few years, as usual.) I’m now addicted and would love to get a pair in a saddle color or maybe with some tweed mixed in. Here’s a few from my wish list.
