Our family has a long-standing tradition of making a “LOVE” cake. They can be made any time throughout the year, but usually consist of yellow cake and chocolate frosting (sprinkles are optional) and are typically made for Dad. I made countless LOVE cakes growing up and it is one of my favorite traditions to carry on with Joe.
